Our area is lucky to be home to many fishing competitions. There are yearly bass and walleye tournaments for the pros as well as competitions for amateurs. The Lewis and Clark Reservoir in nearby Yankton plays host to some of the best world-class fishing competitions in the nation. Even fly fishermen will find a place on the rivers in the area. Bring your canoes and kayaks to explore the Missouri River and enjoy all it’s natural beauty. The National Park Service watches over the Missouri River from the The Cogan House upstream.
